Writing or e-mailing to a Thai lady

Writing to the Thai ladies many times, you have selected could be good for most of them but they all prefer meeting the gentlemen in person so they can really get to know you, but if you feel like writing to them please read this.

The Thai language could make some words complicated to translate, so I recommend that you keep the expressions in your letters as simple as possible.

When first e-mailing or writing your letter of introduction to a Thai lady say:

I received your details from Phuket Dating.

Never start your message by saying

I saw your details on the Internet or I got your details from the Internet.

Why is that?

Making a statement like that usually leads to a lot of confusion as to how you got the information.
These ladies have entrusted their information / private details to us and by not being careful, you could cause them to think that their personal information is posted openly on the internet for anyone to see which is not the case.
Most Thai ladies phone numbers are not supplied but when you e-mail them you can ask for it if you get a positive response.

An unexpected phone call may cause her a lot of problems due to Thai social issues or work related issues. Phoning at inappropriate hour due to time diffences of each country. If you do get the phone number please be careful with the times that you call her.

If you are writing to many Thai ladies do not mention you are writing to other ladies or you may harm your chances with all of them. No one likes to feel as though they are being selected or in some sort of competition. If she knows this then due to cultural misunderstanding you will most likely lose her.

If you are writing to many Thai ladies and you have arrange your travel plans to Phuket never tell the Thai ladies your times of arrival or flight number because it could be embarrassing if several turned up to meet you.

You have been warned! You never get a second chance.

Please note that airmail letters to Thailand take about two / three weeks in each direction.
Mail sent to areas outside of Phuket, especially in rural areas / there home town, often take a lot longer.
E-mail is safer for correspondences but even e-mail may take awhile for a reply because some ladies do not have easy access to Internet shops.
